Initial Consultation

How you decorate your home says a lot about you. It’s a natural extension of your personality. How you work and live in your home goes a step further. During my initial consultation I will talk you through ideas to help you achieve superb results from your space.

Whether you are looking for changes to increase your homes’ financial capability in order to sell or rent or want to realise your home’s potential as a perfect home for you and your family, Freedom Interiors can help.

Before our designer arrives take sometime to consider some questions regarding your project:-

  • For whom is the space being designed?
  • What activities will take place there?
  • How long do you plan to occupy the space?
  • What is your time frame?
  • What is your budget?
  • Are you remodelling or relocating?
  • What image do you want to project?

Also, be sure to consider the positive and negative aspects of the space.

If you're feeling overwhelmed, don't worry. Your interior designer will lead you through the design process. Keep in mind that the more information you provide, the more successful your designer will be in meeting your needs and expectations. You may want to use photos, postcards or magazines to help express your ideas.

The meeting will take place in your home and can take between 1 - 2 hours. Our designer will walk through your property’s chosen room/s and discuss your likes and dislikes. They will then sit down with you to discuss your options, focusing your ideas, thus enabling you to create an ideal living space that is just right for you and within your budgetary constraints.

A brief report, confirming our discussions, giving you a room by room outline of suggested styles, furniture positions, lighting and an action list, will be sent on to you within a few days.

You may also opt for your designer to prepare a complete plan for your project (“Planning Your Project”) whether it be for DIY purposes or using our expert advice and practical support to “Co-ordinating Your Project”.
